It was touch and go whether the weather would work for us. Yet the big pugalug event of the year did happen and the pugs did not fail to make us laugh and bring tears of joy.
It was the last pugalug of 2004 but a dedicated group of pug owners would finish off the year by forming the official Pugalug Club.
Many thanks to the photo contributors: Deren, Frederieke & Robert, Julie & Ian, Kim, David.
And of course, all the pugs who put up with our crazy ways.
Larry

A little bit of pPugalug history was made this day. Thanks largely to the efforts of Hugh Radley and pug Heidi, the first 519 pugalug was held in Cambridge, ON. Obviously the pugs in the Cambridge, Hamilton, Kitchener, Waterloo and Guelph areas were demanding equal time with their Toronto counterparts.
33 pugs attended, particpating in the "pug race", "bobbing for weiners" and the "pug-o-war" (which was a tug of war for pugs)
Thanks to Mark for the photos

We returned to the Scholars and Collars training facility for a pug birthday bash. The idea was to celebrate all pugalug pug's birthday on this one day. The pugs got to run, romp, and eat birthday treats all in air-conditioned comfort.
Fun, games, treats and toys at the Scholars in Collars facility.
Thanks to Joanna Iaboni for supplying the photos
