How is he doing? I've been thinking about him.
BTW, if you are doing the vaccinations so they can go to doggy daycare, you should talk to them. Through my placing foster dogs, I once talked to a doggy daycare place, who said they would exempt a dog that had a letter from their vet.
I actually called the doggy daycare yesterday after getting him home. Lepto (which I thought was required) is actually not required, but DHPP is. My vet will be making a follow up call tomorrow, so I'm going to bring it up as I (obviously) have some serious concerns about his reaction. Lethargy or minor itching at the injection site is one thing, this was something else entirely!
They should allow it. They should accept a letter, saying you won't hold them responsible for Paco getting any of these diseases from the other dogs in the daycare.
That would cover them. The dogs that go there should be vaccinated, so Paco can't be a threat to them. It is all about the threat to Paco and which is worse!
