I think you mean a "pugalug"?  Flower Power Pugalug is coming up on April 29th: http://pugalug.com/forums/index.php/topic,10223.0/topicseen.html

Hi,
New member...just curious, what happens at a pugalug?  Are there a lot of dogs generally?  I see there is one this weekend and was thinking about going but was wondering what exactly happens at one.

Thanks for any insight!

The number of dogs can vary ... it depends on the event and the location, but there's usually a fair bit (20-30+).  Here's a video that used to be on the home page at one point in time, it's a video that someone made a few years back for one of the pugalug's

The events are a lot of fun for the pugs and pug people alike!!! There's a lot of socializing, pugs with pugs, pugs with people and people with people. There's usually a pug themed gift basket raffle and pug merchandise to buy. I can't really describe what a hoot it is to watch a room full of pugs having fun. It has to be experienced!

I have another question:  Do any of the dogs in foster care or who are available for adoption sometimes go to these events?  We have been looking for another Pug to add to the family, jsut waiting for the right match!  It would be great to meet them if they were there.

Yes, some come. I don't know who is planning to though. I am contemplating bringing Cocoa. She isn't spayed and is coming out of heat, but I might chance it. If you see a cute litte pug, on leash or being held (so no boys bother her!) come and say hi. Cocoa is a little sweetie! She will be spayed on May 9th.
