Brian will be packing his wee suitcase and heading to the
hospital after supper, for his surgery tomorrow. He has
his food, his blanket, and his big stuff dog ready to go.
He has a very sweet and soft temperament, so I'm sure he
will be nervous, but he'll be in wonderful hands at the TEVH.
We will be anxious to get him home in a few days and
on the road to a full recovery. Good Luck my sweet boy!!!

Lots of good thoughts out to Brian.  Billy will likely be getting the same surgery as his knees are grade 3/4 and medial more often than not.  No hip issues, thankfully.

I called Trish (his foster mom) a while ago and he was still in surgery--likely got delayed due to emergencies coming in.  I'm sure she'll post as soon as she knows anything.

Just spoke to the TVEH and Brian did well during his surgery.
He was done later in the day, due to some emergencies. He's still
sleepy, but resting comfortably. I'll call back in the morning to get
another update.

Just got off the phone from the folks at the TVEH, Brian is doing very well,
we'll be able to pick him up tomorrow at 11am. He has been an excellent
patient, and is getting lots of snuggles, but there is nothing like home snuggles.
One more sleep Brian Grin

We have Brian at home now, and he is settling into his new
routine quite well. He goes back on Dec 27th for his sutures
to be removed and a checkup.
