Thank you Jean for passing along messages to Maureen, it is very tough what you are doing, helping a friend  going through the toughest time in their life I admire your kindness and caring.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Maureen, her family & friends during this truly difficult and challenging time. I wish the news had been different.

Such sad news to hear, Jean.

I will be keeping Maureen and her family and  Lola in my thoughts and prayers.

Maureen never ceased to amaze me with her happiness at life.
She was always smiling and always there for a chat. I don't ever recall
Maureen without a smile. She is just such a happy person to be around.
Always made me feel so much better after chatting with her at a Pugalug Smiley

Keep your spirits up Maureen, we are thinking of you in this most difficult time!

Maureen has been doing good the past few weeks, I saw her on Friday and will be going again this afternoon. Friday she was very alert, waved when I came in and whispered hi. She has a great appetite and enjoys "Take Out" food over hospital food, and she hasn't lost her sweet tooth and really likes Tim's Fruit Smoothies.
I took the picture of Lola out of my calender, Lola as the strawberry princess and put it up on her bulletin board which is in front of her bed, she often points to it and says Lola. Amanda your picture of Dave and Pugsly is there also.
Kathy her cousin is always there when I go, she usually does the morning and afternoon shift, it's nice to hear the  stories when Maureen was young. I learned the secret of Maureen's "big hair", Kathy said that Maureen spent a summer with her family and they were going to Vancouver for a holiday and Kathy's mother had Maureen's hair cut short, well Maureen didn't like it and after that Kathy said the "big hair" began. Maureen has a Aerosmith CD in her room and I said see Maureen you are a "rocker chick", I told her that Steve Tyler is still on Idol and I have to say that there is something sexy about him, Maureen smiled when I said that. It's so good to she Maureen in good spirits.

Glad to see Maureen is doing so well and is enjoying her take out Smiley

You can let her know that I too went through a similar experience with my
Mom Wink and hence the long hair. I feel for her on that one Smiley

Thank you Jean. I know that everyone has Maureen in their thoughts and we look forward to hearing how she is. Please tell her that the whole extended Pugalug family sends her a very big hug from wherever we are. She is in my thoughts and prayers everyday. Winnie and Sasha send little Lola their best as well.

Thank you for the update. I also think of Maureen everyday and am glad to hear she is in positive spirits.

Is Lola allowed to visit with her?

Thanks for the updates. It's good to know how Maureen is doing, but it's also sad to realize she's not the person she once was. We were hoping to get to a Pugalug, but it won't be the same without Maureen and Lola there. Hope she does better and is able to see Lola once in a while. All our prayers...
