Mookie's eye has continued to get worse. I took him to the eye doctor and he has scheduled surgery for tomorrow. The bite has caused a very deep ulcer. It is like a large white polka dot, just below the pupil. He should still have pretty good vision. He is in a lot of pain and just wants to be in my arms, poor guy. Please wish him good luck, as surgery is always a worry. On a positive note, kitty Layla has fully recovered and is more crazy than usual. Making up for lost time! I will post something, once I have Mookie home safe and sound.

I am so sorry about this - my thoughts to Mookie (and you) for a easy surgery and a quick recovery.
Good to hear Layla is doing well.

Mookie is home and sleeping by me. He should keep all his vision. Right now, he is almost blind. The operated eye is kept shut, for a week or two and the other eye has very little vision. He was bumping into everything and was going in circles. We also had two bumps removed, while he was under. They have been sent off to Guelph. I hope we don't get anymore surprises. The poor guy moaned in the car, but fell asleep when I talked to him nonstop.
