Can anyone tell me if the toenail cutting people will be at Pug Claus on Sunday, pls? Geeg's nails are sooooo long and she's being such a pain that my options are a) get the pug-nail-cutting-people to do it or b) paint the damn nails in festive colours for Christmas and enter her in Guinness for "world's scariest pug nails".
Geeg & Jemmie are gonna be at the TO event for the first time...who of our pug-friends should we keep an eye out for???

I'll be there with Samwise. The rest of the pugs are staying home.
I'd be surprised if the Muddy Paws folks aren't there, but don't know for sure.......

Jemmie ALWAYS finds you Blanche...and you'll see Geeg but default as she furiously chases after Jem, humping him, biting him and trying to instill discipline. It rarely works but she's dedicated.

Hey Shannon, that is great - Maude and I will be there most likely - looking forward to meeting you and Geeg. I met the one of a kind Jemmie while he was with Blanche - it will be nice to see him again too.
I think it said in Larry's Pug News email that Muddy Paws would be there. I hope so since I will not clip Maude's nails after the bloody mess I made of it last time.

...i leave Geeg's toes any longer, she'll be able to skate across the ice. Jemmie's grown a bit but look for the skinny weiner in the blue puppia being chased all over by a psycho-long-niled fawn bitch- that'll be Geeg. Maude I'd knOW ANYWHERE. I'll have to get Blanche to introduce you though, Laura. Maude never takes any pictures.

Shannon tell Jemmie he has to be nice to Samwise or he won't get any treats from me. He'll get the toe of my shoe on his skinny butt. Sam has only been neutered two weeks so Jemmie might decide that he needs a whupping.

Blanche, I make no promises on Jem and Sam- you KNOW how he feels about those bro's with junk...even if the junk has been removed, the memory still lingers. I'll keep an eye on him- i always do- and hopefully we can go without him peeing on someone, too. I hope Paul and Colleen are there and have reinforcements they can call in. I feel like to total wimp not wanting to cut my own dog's nails...but Geeg is a nightmare. I've had my mom (professional groomer) do her nails before and even mom said she was a challenge. Not bad on a dental at all (mom does that too) but terrible with the toes! So Laura..forgot to mention, I'll be the blonde chasing Jem and Geeg around- following Jem's psycho junk-attacking, pee-on-innocent-bystanders self and following Geeg's toenail blood-trail as she attempts a throw-down on Jem's misbehaving pug-bod.

Lots of HoHoHo to all of the Pugs and their families going to Pug Claus today! Winnie and Sasha are wishing they could be there with you but their Dad is working. Have a great day and we'll look forward to tales (or should we say tails) on the forum!

Have a great time. Since Mookie's eye is so much worse, we have to give it a miss.

Well, it was a hoot and a holler. Lots of fun. Jemmie was completely well behaved around my Samwise. He wasn't so keen on Wally (who acted like a boston and slam danced with other dogs whether they wanted him to or not) and he thought someone American Eskimo needed to be killed--but otherwise, he was a good boy.
And breaking news--Geeg took treats from me AND wagged her tail. I didn't dare try to pat her and push my luck. Jasper and Walter were there. And so many fosters--Billy, Brian, Samwise, Wally. I've probably forgotten someone.
And people made some very generous donations. All in all a good time. But Sam is exhausted. So much standing around and having to be awake. Brutal
