Today, Mookie has been with us for 9 years! This little guy was in a Montreal SPCA and slated to be euthanized. He just needed surgery for a luxating patella, but shelters can't afford that kind of thing. Lucky for him, a wonderful lady found out and took him home, connected with Peachy Pugs Rescue (the rescue prior to Pugalug) and he ended up with us! He joined Salvador and they were instant friends.
He may not be having the best Gotcha day, as he was attacked and his eye was injured. The emergency vet couldn't see any obvious injury to the cornea. He is still favouring that eye and it is red. We are going to the eye doctor, first thing this morning. I'll post more in the Wishes needed section.
update: He will be okay and is home and getting spoiled!
