It's a dark-comedy, short film about a girl getting her first period with her grandfather and his pug to guide her as she comes to terms with becoming a woman  Shocked  Seriously?!?!? WTF, where's the humour, dark or otherwise, in that?!?! W

Stephen Dunn wrote the film as well as will be directing it!

I must say that our house is currently living the "coming to terms with becoming a woman" with a member of the family who will remain nameless and we are NOT seeing the comedy here  Wink

How about the photo of "Esther" holding the blood clot?  Interesting.

Actually, I DID start that phase of my life with only my dad around as my mother had died.  He gave me an obscure book to read (prior to my period arriving).  It was so freaking obscure (lots of references to "That special time", "flowering" and " becoming a woman" without any reference to what actually happens) that I was sure I was dying of some hideous form of cancer.  My gym teacher had to explain it to me.  Carrie, anyone?
