Jason KB photography is looking to photograph pugs for promotional material for a movie being made about a pug. Out of the session they are hoping to cast a pug to star in the movie. Here's the blurb from the web page. The trained pug part is being able to do the basics - sit, stay, come.

Contact, location and registration info are on the website

"Do you know a pug who wants to be famous?  Jason KB Photo, Toronto’s premier animal photography studio,  is looking for pugs to photograph for an upcoming film project by award winning Canadian filmmaker Stephen Dunn.  The chosen pug might also get a chance to star in the film!  Wow!

Interested pugs must be well tempered and available the evening of Wednesday November 30th for a photoshoot in Jason KB Photo’s downtown studio.  Trained pugs are preferred

As a thank you for taking part in the shoot, the chosen pug will receive a 16″ x 20″ print from Jason KB Photo (a $135 value!)."

Not to worry Blanche - Tank can have his chance at being the next Brad Pitt of pugs.

I just got a response from the director. You can email him photos directly
stephen.dunn@ryerson.ca

He is looking for full body shots. Also temperament, can the dog were outfits, hats? And a short description of what he is like

The movie is going to also star Gorden Pinsent

Hmmm.  Not sure Tank would be thrilled with hats and outfits.  and while he's very well behaved, not sure he's movie quality--and given his age and folliclely challenged areas, he's maybe not what they are looking for, but heck, I'll enter him anyway.

I'm taking the same attitude with Darwin.  I think he's gorgeous and would have a blast.  We'll see if they find his folliclely challenged areas an issue too.

Good luck everyone!

I would eat glass to get to meet Gordon Pinsent.  My primary motivation for even sending in pictures of Tank.

Lol, Blanche.  Tell you what, if Darwin gets chosen you can come to set with him as one of his "people". Grin

Perfect.  Tell Darwin I will apologize if I drool in his food.  I'd love to be one of the droids in service to his Puggishness.

Do I have to call him Mr. Darwin Sir?
