This charming old man went to the Rainbow Bridge yesterday. He belongs to a friend of a friend, and while I never met Francis I definitely appreciated seeing Facebook pictures of him. My friend first posted pictures of Francis about four years ago after a trip to NYC. He was an oldie back then and I was happily surprised that he was still alive when I asked about him about a month ago. He went to the Rainbow Bridge yesterday at 18 years and 2 months. THAT is a trooper!! His owner has given me permission to post some pictures of his buddy.

Francis was one handsome boy. My sympathy to his family. I hope my babies live to that ripe old age, and age so gracefully. A candle is lit in Port Perry for Francis.

Run free Francis.  My heartfelt sympathy goes to your family who now has an empty place in their hearts.
