It's been a year since Doug "officially" became a member of our family. He has been with
us since September of 2010, as our 4th foster. He was in need of some dental work, as
well as needed both knees operated on. Through the weeks of recovery it became clear
that he had chosen us as his forever home, and we were very happy to agree with him.
Doug, you are one unique guy, we love all your little quirks because they make us laugh.
It has been a great year with you and we look forward to many more. Even though the kids
call you a "Mama's Boy" it's ok, because you're our boy. We love ya!

Nothing wrong with being a mama's boy.  I know some really good dogs that are mama's boys.  None of them mine, sadly. My good dogs all become The boy's dog.  SIGH.

Happy, happy Gotcha Day, Doug.  You're rolling in clover now.
