I know this photo is shocking to see. This poor little guy was rescued yesterday by Compassionate Pug Rescue in Florida from a puppy mill. They figure he is about 7 years old. Both his eyes will be removed this week.

Hazel sends this poor little man good vibes and again states "Eyes?  We don't need no stinkin' eyes".

Criminal that this continues to go on.

Here is an update for Buddy:
"He slept on a nice soft bed next to my daughter, Shelby, all through the night. He loves to walk around the back yard and when he's inside, likes to stay nearby one of us. He's taking his medicine (hidden in cheese) and eye drops like a trooper. Keep him in your thoughts and prayers as we continue to assess his condition."

It looks like they've managed to get the crust off of his eye balls, so at least he can close them now. Can you imagine not being able to close your eyes, and how much it would hurt? Poor little babe.

If you have a Facebook account, you can follow his story by joining the Compassionate Pug Rescue group.

Poor guy - thank goodness he is far from there now. I hope it is all good for him from now on.
