I just wanted to say thanks to all of the volunteers on the Sunday shift. Everyone was so fabulous to hang out with, it was great to share our love of the Pugalug rescue with others. I was helping out with Roxy and Pippin by my side, and worked most of the crowd by talking about the rescues and by pug spotting. We had a fabulous time.

Pippin and Roxy worked equally as hard, as you can tell by this photo...

Thanks to all the pugs and humans who helped out. We raised $425 from the event and had a whole bunch of people sign up to either our forum or to the Facebook group.

It was so nice to see you, Krysta, and get some smooches from Pippin and scratch Roxy's bum.  Both look wonderful.

And I finally got to lay eyes on Kaia--who is a cutie!

Also wanted to mention that Jean Winkler will be donating $500 from the bandana sales. At these shows we share the booth with Jean and her bandanas are always popular - bringing people right into the booth so we get more than just pugs visiting.

Jean uses the proceeds from the bandana sales to build the raffle items we use at our Pugalugs. Jean is donating the surplus to help us with our current crop of rescues.

Jean is the Queen!

That is fantastic. Thank you Jean!

Also those bandanas are great, Maude has many and I love them all. Jean does such a good job with them, it is no wonder they are such a hot item at the booth.

It was great to meet Krysta and Roxy and to see Pippin again. He is doing wonderfully in your care. Such a handsome dude.
It was funny to watch him look at Blanche when she spoke...he remembered his foster mommy for sure.

I was glad to hang out for a few hours at the booth. Lots of pugs at Woofstock this year.

Jean, you are amazing! Looking forward to working with you at the raffle table at Pug Claus Smiley

Jemmie always remembers Blanche, too.  Smiley  She's a sure treat source and Jemmie loves her.  No one else would have slept on the floor with the poor, mangey, scrawny, scabby little dude.  Smiley

And therein lies the key to the foster adoration and remembrance.  They remember my food, primarily.
