Welcome Tomas!  You are very sweet!

I have been away for a few days and get back to see 9 pugs in "being assessed"  Huh?  Is it just me or has there been an explosion of pugs being surrendered?

Well, yes and no.  We usually get a big dump in the fall.  This has been a bit bigger than usual, but we had some space so it appears higher than normal.  Some came in a bit ago and just got posted recently.  And really, there are only four brand new ones in--one hasn't yet been posted.

But yes, there are a lot of pugs being dropped at shelters and surrendered to rescues.  And I don't even want to talk about the mixes.  the shelters are FULL of pug mixes and the three pug rescues in Ontario are all full right now.

On the upside, it looks like Daisy has finally found a permanent home, Champ and Tuni have home visits this weekend and will hopefully be moving on.  So that's good news.

Sam went to his forever home this morning.  We were planning on doing another visit, but he was so settled today that his new mom and I decided that he was fine to just stay.

He is living here in the east end of Toronto, has a 14 year old black pug brother, a couple of cat siblings (including one named Sunny) and a 5 year old human sister.

Bye bye, SamSam.  We will miss you a lot!

I'm going to really miss the Sammie Whammers.  But I have Juni here and Gregory is arriving on the 3rd for dog sitting until the 9th--so full house again at least for a while.

Such good news for Samwise and his new forever. Blanche does he live close enough that you can visit?
