Hahahaha!! Same here...kidding as well. I think.
Don't think there wasn't a part of me that hoped he wouldn't get any applications so he'd have to stay here.....

However, the person who has applied is someone I know (although didn't know she was "in the market" for another pug) and isn't a freak.  Or no more of one than I am.

Home visit went well.  Resident 14 year old black pug and young ginger cat both got along with Samwise.  Now we will do another visit to meet the 5 year old human and it should be a go.  I'm not expecting any issues, but I've never had Sam around small kids so better safe than sorry.

And given how very anxious he was when he came to me, I'd like to ease him into a new home slowly.  So if all goes well with the 5 year old human, then sometime after Christmas/Holidays, Sam will be moving to his new home.

and I'm sure that the 5 yr old already having been exposed to
a senior will be fine around Sam!
