He's such a beautiful man - inside and out! His parents-to-be are super lucky people. This boy is a complete gem.

Here's a photo of Samwise in the car on his way to foster care!

And many thanks to you, Rebecca, for picking the man up from TAS North.

Rebecca was also quite taken with my Hazel......who, of course, mauled her.

So Anna--I have to ask--what book is Isaac reading to Ada?

And yes, my new floors are da bomb!

I can't stand anyone who doesn't have a little neuroses about them.

LOVE your avatar photo, btw. I'm stealing it!

My son sent me that in an email and said it made him think of me....hmmmmm.

Hazel is a good nutty not a loonie nutty.  She's just off plumb enough to be fun and a bit baffling.

And yes, my new floors are da bomb!

Isaac would be reading to Ada from one of his favourite series by Doreen Cronin.  It started with Click, Clack, Moo - Cows That Type (about cows that go on strike for electric blankets); followed by Dooby Dooby Moo (the cows, sheep, and duck enter a singing contest); and then his favourite Giggle, Giggle, Quack, (Farmer Brown is on vacation and Duck tricks his replacement) which is what he was "reading" to Ada. Sound like GREAT books.  I love kids books.  I'm deeply addicted to Walter the Farting Dog series, myself.

There is a lovely little book for kids--you may have seen it or have it--called Something from Nothing.  Really lovely story with a mini story going on along the bottoms of the pages.

That picture is great, I added that one to his page as well.
