Sounds like a rough start but he's already had one update which looks like it's a good start!

Hope little Monkey is feeling better soon.  He looks like a real cutie.

Just waiting to hear from the VEC, but as of this morning it was looking like he would be coming home this afternoon.  If he tolerates oral antibiotics well then he will be coming home today.

The monkey man is in his foster home.  And since his foster mom is Victoria who does the best foster updates of any of us, I will be looking forward to hearing about his progress.

What a sweet guy he is. He deserves a much better name than Monkey. So I'm thinking Sweet William - Billy for short. I'm not sure if we've had a Billy before.
He was pretty tired out when he came home from the VEC. Laid low for a while, then out to the backyard and peed like a racehorse. I guess that's what comes from being on intravenous. He even tried to initiate play with his foster brother Jackson. They are already best friends and lick and kiss each other competing for lap space.
He ate a great dinner - a little chicken on kibble, drank, went out back to pee and poo again. Now I think we'll put him in his crate to force him to nap.
A proper picture and update later, but I knew everyone would want to know how the little guy is doing.

Excellent update, Victoria.  Glad to hear his first hours at "home" are going so well.

What a relief that the little guy is doing so much better!  I like his new possible name much better than Monkey!  Poor little mite has had a rough go so far!

Isn't he just the most adorable?  He almost didn't make it as far as Toronto - Bryan was driving.  I'm so glad he's already getting along with Jackson.

We've had a Will but no William or Billy.  Just let me know what you want his "official" name to be.

Molly is quite right to warn Billy. Jackson is licking his face and ears, wrestling with him and generally being the best big brother possible. Waiting patiently as Billy gets medication in tasty treats and slowly eating his enormous dinner without being jealous. They are a riot to watch together. Billy wants to do everything Jackson does. They are Twin Peers on our walks.

Looking at Billy's page today and he reminded me of someone else.  He reminds me in the top picture of Will from a couple of years ago.
