This is an amazing project started by San Francisco pet photographer, Amanda Bradshaw to create a beautiful, artful, book of pug photography while raising money for local Pug rescues. The tour will begin in 2012. There will be a chance to win $10,000 to a pug rescue, as well as $10 from each photo going to our own pug rescue. Okay folks, you do not need to contact Amanda - the person who is organizing the 1000 Pugs. I have already been in contact with her. Toronto will be the only Canadian stop on the tour and Pugalug will be the rescue that she will be donating to. Once I have the details I will post and we can arrange to provide her with lots of pugs for the book.

Amanda will setup a registration process so anyone can be part of it. She will need a minimum of 50 pugs to make the trip.
I would imagine you can have a group shot of your gang. I suggested she contact Paws Way as a possible base of operations.
And if you've been following The Daily Puglet you'll know that Pug is trying to talk her into getting a tour bus so he can come along.

It's a hard decision for us  .....Dave and Pugsley just "hate" getting their photos taken! Dave wants to know if treats are involved??? Also, since he is "only 3/4 pug" he wants to know if he is disqualified??? |
