Well......he wasn't found as a stray.  He was brought in by someone who claimed they had found him, but the shelter staff felt pretty sure that it was the owner who brought him in.  We see it a lot.  People don't want to pay the surrender fee so claim the dog is a stray.

He may be a true stray, but it seems unlikely.  Oh well, doesn't matter.  He's safe now.
