Oh that little mournful face! Would love to take him home. Good luck Murdoch. A great name for a cute boy.

Winnie and Sasha think that Murdoch is a very cute Pug Boy and they're wondering how he is doing. Does he like to play with his foster fur siblings?

He's doing very well.  And he LOVES to play - with toys, with his humans and with his foster sister Tina.  He's kind of given up on Denver and Farnsworth although he does love to lick their ears.  He's just one big playboy.  He still scratches a little but not like when he first came.  He did have a flea which made things worse.  At intake he came with Orijen (chicken, turkey, fish and eggs) and I switched him over to raw almost immediately - mainly chicken - and he did very well.  Now I've switched him back to kibble but am using Taste of the Wild (bison and venison) as potentially new proteins.  When that bag is finished, I'll try something else to see if we can eliminate the scratching entirely.  But it's not so bad that he needs medication and he's easily distracted from scratching with a toy.  He does love to pull the stuffing out of toys so I have bought him a new Kong and a hard fabrid squeeky bone thing, both of which he loves.  Winnie and Sasha should come over and meet him.  Tina is a little calmer now.

Thanks Hilary for the update about Murdoch. We've been wondering about him and he sounds like a wonderful Pug boy in every way. Winnie and Sasha would love to meet him. Thanks for the offer. We'll be in touch. Happy to hear that Miss Tina is settling in. Is she still her Daddy's girl?

We had to adopt him.  He's the only one that can keep Max from tripping Bryan when he goes upstairs.  Max grabs Bryan's ankles and Murdoch grabs Max.  He's a good boy! LOL

I guess this image sums it all up (from Murdoch's pugalug page):

He seems to have a good "grasp" on things here! Cheesy
