But he seems ok now.  Went to the vet and they did a good checkup and we did bloodwork, also going to be seeing a neurologist in the near future it looks like.  Given the combination that he had the red eye and the fact that his vision hasn't been great in the last couple of weeks ... it warrants a good look at.

He had just come upstairs with me, not sure if he fell over or laid down as my back was turned, but when I turned around he was laying on the ground on his side with one leg shaking (the leg facing up) and was peeing.  He wasn't in distress aside from looking confused as to what was happening -- and still isn't distressed.  He was disoriented for a minute or so, but then once he stood up he was ok (aside from having a belly covered in pee).  His eyes seemed fine and his balance and everything was good.

Nothing obviously wrong from the quick checkup today and he's back to his normal self, although he wasn't that impressed that he had to have a bath, but he did charge down the stairs and ran right to the treat cupboard immediately and barked up a storm (after a bath you always get treats) so business as usual on that front Smiley

I'll keep everyone up to date, but I think he could use your good vibes.

I will send my best wishes to Cooper tomorros.  I am glad he is okay.
We try to watch their eyes while they are having an episode.  Vestibular look similar to a seizure but the eyes move back and forth during a vestibular episode.  The treatment is quite different.

We had our visit this morning, nothing specific jumped out at her.  We decided to do an MRI and there was an opening today (and I fasted Cooper this morning just in case), so I left him there.  They have to anesthetize him for it, which also means additional lung xrays (he had pneumonia recently so they want to make sure it's totally cleared up before they put him under).  He's also getting to see the opthomologist today as well as there was an open slot.

Coop can still use everyone's good vibes for sure.

Expensive day for his parents (we're at about $3000 already for the day with everything going on), but my little man is worth it.  Let's hope that the MRI comes back clean and that it's not a tumour or anything like that.  He's definitely getting lots of attention from the professionals today!
