Hugh Radley is having the annual 519 Pugoween on Oct 16 at 2 pm. It will be in the usual spot. The website will be updated soon.

Hugh says this will be a fund raiser for Harley, the new pug puppy with the mange and fractured leg. There will be a raffle, costume contest and the 2012 Calendars for sale

Hugh has the big covered space so this event will be rain or shine but the pugs will not get wet

I think Hugh was part of the transport for little Harley today, as well.

its a great venue for running and pug-playing and the shelter does protect from the rain.  However, i am pretty wimpy with a rain/cold combo...even if the pugs aren't!  Smiley

Looks like we may be able to make this one! We have some stuff we've been saving to donate to Jane's table.

Is there anyone from Toronto planning on going to the Cambridge Pugoween?
There is a visitor from Germany who would like to go. She is a pug lover and publishes a Pug magazine in Germany. She interviewed me a few years ago for the magazine.
She is leaving Monday but would love to cap off her visit with a Pugalug.
Her name is Myriam and email is mama@spreemops.de

I also just heard from Harvey's foster mom that he will be making his first public appearance tomorrow at the Cambridge event.

It was a great turnout by the 519ers. Looks like everyone had a great time. There are pictures posted on the Cambridge Pugalug facebook page

Our former rescue Audra was so lovely in her beautiful butterfly costume.

And the Cathy brought Harvey to the festivities. He's looking much better.

The event raised $245 for Harvey so thanks everyone for your support and a special thanks to Hugh Radley for organizing it
