Happy Birthday Pugsley.  And don't worry about it being on 9/11.  You are just proof that despite tragedy, joy lives on.  Like the phoenix rising from the ashes.

And our 9/11 candle is lit, for all those who lost their lives, or a loved one, in that horrible, senseless act.  Sad

Happy Birthday, Pugsley!!  I think Dave is suffering the Post Hump Pay-Back.

I find the 9/11 coverage overwhelming.  I'm not saying that we shouldn't memorialize the people lost or forget the tragedy of that day, but I found seeing the Twin Towers being hit by the planes over and over again today to be very hard.

I remember a year after 9/11 there was an article in a magazine--Time, maybe?  This little girl had lost her dad in the Towers and she had stopped watching anything on TV except the Food Network because it was the only channel she could watch and be pretty sure of not seeing recaps of the 9/11 footage.  That image stuck with me and kind of haunted me.  I was thinking of her today.

Happy 3rd Birthday Princess Pugsley!

My gang and I wish you many more Happy Birthdays to come Smiley

And good for you LOL! Showing Dave who really wields the power of pugginess!

As for 911, I too find the images shown over and over again overwhelming and although I will always remember those who gave unselfishly and those who never returned

Happy belated birthday Pugsley!!!

While it's important to never forget the victims of 9/11 it's also important to create new happy memories and not let the terrorists take that away from us too.
