For those who are more local and not doing the Elgin Pugnic, we are having a Polliwog Pugalug on September 18th from 12 to 2 at Canine Wellness. Please let me know if you are coming as we like to have some idea of the numbers and it's $10 a pug with the proceeds being split between Pugalug and Canine Wellness. You can PM me or email me at blanche.axton@gmail.comIf you have a life jacket for your pug, please bring it with you as Canine Wellness only has so many pug sized life jackets. |

This is *such* a fun event. I have taken wee Lola and her gimpy sister, Nelly, back to the Centre *many* times since our first Pollywog Pugalug, years ago. Lola is an expert little swimmer now! We are sorry to be out of town for it this year.

Poor Darwin, I guess he didn't realize you only need to hold your breath if you're going under water. Then again, maybe he was just taking the boyscout "be prepared" approach to swimming  |
