I know this stuff is good for my boys but OH MY GOODNESS I made the mistake of giving them some just a few minutes ago and then a few minutes later Carolyn chased them out onto the deck with their green tripe chewies so as not to reek the whole house out (she also chased me out here with them because I gave it to them LOL)! This is the good stuff, from the All Natural treats site blanche posted a while back, so it's real, off the hoof, unprocessed green tripe. WOW. It's like rolling around in the cow pasture LOL. I think going forward these will be outdoor only treats! They are just loving it though, both are chewing like maniacs, and I'm glad it's very good for them. I'm also glad that there's a decent breeze out here on the deck tonight

Do you by chance have the link to the website selling the treats? Rocky loves green tripe.....these sound disgusting, but right up his alley!

Can you imagine I used to cut this stuff up into little squares ... by hand? Took me a couple of hours. Now I buy it ground from a woman in Bowmanville. She charges a little more for the ground product but I consider it well worth it, although I may try to grind my own now that I have an industrial meat grinder. Like anal gland juice, the stuff used to make me gag but, like Blanche, I'm kind of immune to it now.

The dried stuff was stinky ... but then once the boys started chewing on it and re-hydrating it ... WOW.
