I'm tickled pink that Yvie made it back Smiley

So happy to hear that she wasn't hurt at all and
only missing a few meals!!

Hugs to Yvie and may your tail never leave the house

Yvie, I hope you learned your lesson!  My Walter did the same thing to me many years ago.  After two weeks of waiting and worrying I told myself I had to accept he wasn't coming back...he showed up the next morning.

I am so relieved you made it home too Yvie  Grin

That is wonderful news! I have a similar story from years ago when I lived in an apartment on the Danforth. My cat that I'd had since I was 11 years old, got outside and was missing for 6 weeks. I thought she was a gonner for sure, I was so heartbroken. Then one day, six weeks later, I was parking my car behind the building when I heard the weakest "meow".. and there she was! Skin and bones, filthy dirty and weak, trying to make her way to me. That was the happiest day of my life. I think she had gotten locked in a garage since there was a laneway at the back with lots of garages, and she was covered in grease. She lived on to be 19 years old. Cats really do have 9 lives!
