Met Sasha & Winnie's daddy at Walmart the other day and was telling him about our newest foster - Fiona.  He said to be sure to tell you, Joanne.  So here's a picture for you while we're waiting for our webmaster to catch up from his holidays.  She and Tina had their initial issues but have learned to respect each other.  They enjoyed their time at Bark in the Park today in Trenton and are both happily snoring in Big Bed with the boys.  i think there might be a little bit of Boston terrier in the girl.

EDIT:  Fiona's page is here:  http://pugalug.com/fiona.html

Thanks Hilary for the post. For some reason I can't enlarge the photo but I'm sure that Fiona is a real cutie. I grew up with Bostons and you know my fondness for black Pug Girls. Funny thing, the Mister mentioned that he was talking to you but didn't mention Fiona. He was working yesterday otherwise we would have seen you at Barks in the Park. Looking forward to hearing more about Fiona!

It's not just you, Joanne.  The photo is posted (I think) in such a way that it can't be enlarged by clicking on it.

She is a cutie, for sure.

Now the Queen must go rest up for her appearance....

Blanche we're going to miss seeing you this year at Pugtoria. Wishing her Majesty a day of decorum, glory, and with luck, no targeted urinary events!

Well, I'm taking my fan with me to be on the safe side.  Having already had my bed peed on by the foster boy, my pee threshold is low......

I can't figure out how to do that.  Help?

Lord, asking me for help is like asking an anchor to help you swim.  I just post mine from Shutterfly and they automatically get bigger if you click on them.  Beyond that, it's a mystery to me.....

When you are doing a post, at the bottom there is a line that says additional options. Click on that and then it says Attach:  Click on browse, for your photo and click on open. It should attach, unless it is too big of a file.

Hilary, are you making your photos smaller than the original size before attaching them to your message?  If so, maybe you are making them smaller than they need to be?  The one in this topic looks to be avatar size.

Hilary:  The images you are posting to photobucket are that small, it seems that you are only uploading thumbnail sized images to photobucket.  I thought you were just posting the thumbnails but on further investigation the images you are uploading are indeed that small.

I've tried to change them but am not having any luck.  I'm obviously a luddite!   I'll just wait until the intro photos are posted on the Pugalug webpage.

Hilary, luddite is not the word that comes to mind when I think of you. Thank you for your generosity in posting a picture and bit about Fiona. If only we were looking for a Pug Boston Girl I'd be getting the application ready to send as soon as she is available. Can't wait to hear if Bryan has his application ready for Tina   Wink

Just so folks are aware--the fact that she has a white spot on her chest isn't an indication that she's a mix.  Small black spots are often found on pure bred black pugs.  And on fawns.  It's considered a "fault" but is not uncommon.

She may have been listed as a mix at the shelter as most shelters list dogs as "pug mix" unless they know absolutely that the dog is pure bred.

So in that first picture, did somebody poke her?  Her most Pug Highness does not look pleased to have been awakened..... Grin
