Sadly, Brad Pattison has another show.  Will be on tonight at 9 on Slice.  In it, he is going to help a family with an 8 week pug puppy who is chewing, nipping and not house trained.  GOSH!  What a surprise.  Here's the write-up.  Should be truly horrifying.....

Well, I watched it and was pleasantly surprised.  There was much I didn't agree with, but he wasn't brutal as he usually is with adult dogs.

The show was on today and the pug seemed pretty stubborn. The show had a softer touch, perhaps dealing with puppies has made all the difference?

I think one has to keep in mind that this pup was only 9 weeks old.  Not sure if he's stubborn or just too young to figure out what's being asked of him.  I think we all know that pugs are pretty stubborn creatures, but I'm personally hesitant to tag a dog as stubborn when they are that young.

I haven't seen his show, but I have heard baaad things about him.

Funny thing is - Lola was a TERRIBLE biter when she was a puppy. TERRIBLE. My fingers and toes were a shredded bloodbath. No manis or pedis for ME!

We had behaviouralists in...tried everything...it all just encouraged her to do it MORE. And then one day...she just stopped.

Pugs.
