Rocky LOVES Bully sticks.
Just wondering how often it's ok to give him one.
He's not overweight, eats raw exclusively and has very few treats other than the bully sticks......is one a day too much?Huh?

My guys get bones, bully sticks or Texas Toothpicks pretty much every day unless I have a foster who will battle over them

What is the best brand of bully sticks? I like the Merrick brand of Texas Toothpicks, I was hoping to stock up at All About Pets but unfortunately Merrick was not selling anything at this years show.

Charlie and Sully get a bully stick about every couple of weeks.  They usually last Sully at least 4 days.  Charlie seems to go through his in about 2 days. I was at Pet Value buying MealWorms for our gecko the other day and they had bully sticks that were made by a lady at the counter. She had 3 different sizes so I bought the boys the small ones that were about 6 inches long.  I wasn't sure that they would like them so I only bought 1 each.  They were only $2 each, they boys loved them so I now am going to pick them up in bulk.

I order all my chewies for the dogs from this place:

And their Facebook link:

They are fabulous and I heartily endorse their stuff.  They will be at Woofstock, too.

Thanks for those links .. just put in an order for the boys.  Glad it's them eating it all, not me! Smiley  I went for some of the more "tame" options there, I think Carolyn might get a little squeamish with the duck's feet or cow noses Cheesy

We didn't get any of the duck or chicken feet either.  but the cow noses don't actually look like noses and are pretty popular here.  We also got some rabbit ears--which, sadly, do look (and feel) like rabbit ears.

I've been so pleased with this company, I actually sent them a picture of Tank and Theo (my yeastie beasties) and a testimonial.  And I NEVER do that.

Are the tracheas crunchy or something they can chew for a while?
He loves the crunchy rabbit ears...gobbles them right up!  My daughter is traumatized by them.......probably because I keep singing Here Comes Peter Cottontail everytime I give one to Rocky....  Smiley

Well, my old coots can chew them for a while, but a young'un like Rocky would likely find them crunchy.

I got them some tendon, trachea and pigs ears so we'll see how that goes with them ... hopefully they are a hit!  I just couldn't do the rabbit ears or the feet.
