Candace sending thoughts of hope and healing to your Mom, her husband and to you as well Candace. All good advice given by others about accepting any help offered and continuing to take care of yourself. Candace my field of practice is in eldercare and I know the system well. I would be happy to talk to you and help in any way I can because it is figuring out the system and getting the care and support that your Mom and her husband need that is sometimes the most difficult part. Thanks for the well wishes. It has been a tough few years. Mom had a hip replacement, a few years ago and Bob had heart surgery. My mom's oldest sister, just passed away and their closest friend also died. It is hard to watch them suffering.

I'm so sorry to hear about your mom's distress and am sending healing puggy vibes to her, her husband and you.  Watching our loved ones age is seriously sad and frustrating.  It reminds me constantly to "carpe diem" while we can.  Hugs.
