Maude and I have just returned from the Forest Hill clinic and she has to be in a cone with many drops until she can be dropped off Monday morning to be left for Dr. Klys to see her. The vet there could have fixed 2 of her 3 issues but since she would have to come back anyways, we figured I should just keep an eye on her for the weekend and do them all Monday.

My special one has an ectopic, a distichia and a hair that has wrapped itself around her graft (ugh). Googly eye buttons are looking pretty good now.  Roll Eyes

poor Maude! that sounds not only frustrating all around but
rather irritating and perhaps painful!

How on earth did you manage to get a lash "twist"  Huh?
sounds like a Maude move Wink

Hoping it all goes well next week!
Sending healing. Wishes!

Oh no! That sucks!  We'll be thinking of you guys.  And of poor Nelson who is likely to get shoveled.

Thanks everyone, she is actually doing pretty good, her eye is a little irritated but not terrible. I am watching her closely though because it turns out ole fat neck can not fit into her cone any longer.

I am hoping all will go well Monday - they can do miracles at that clinic. Dr. Klys will hopefully burn the bad lashes and get the hair out without having to put her under. It is amazing to me that he can do that. Talk about steady hands.

So sorry to hear Laura...I'm sure Dr.Klys will be able to do his magic!  Keep up the drops and hang tight!!

We have been going every 2-3 weeks with Pugsley.  As it happens, I had a scare the day before leaving for vacation ......she developed squinting and tearing (just my luck)......of course I rushed her to Forest Hill and both Dr. Klys and Goldstein were both away.  Huh?

I had started antibiotics and when she was examined she had ectopic hairs but no obvious ulcer (Thank goodness)

Thinking of you and Maude and give us an update when you can!

We are just waiting for the TTC to let pets on (9:30) and then we are off to the clinic. She knows something is up, and is attacking all her toys while we wait.
