Today, Lily went to the Rainbow Bridge. She was 18 yrs. 8 mths. The old kitty had a large mass in her belly and arthritis, from her hip dysplasia. It seems strange, without a cat in the house. There has always been cats in my life, since I was 10 yrs. old. Run free, old girl.

A candle is lit on Dunkirk Rd. for Lily.  She was very beautiful.  I'm sure it does seem strange not to have a cat around.

Oh Candace, I am so sorry. I know what you mean about it being strange not to have a cat in the house.  A candle will be lit in Ajax for Lily.

I am so sorry, Candace.   Almost nineteen years - wow - the house will differently feel different for a while. Hugs to you and the family.

My sympathy, Candace.  My Puppy's just about to turn 19 and i know how you feel...dang cat's been there through marriage, moves, university, divorce another marriage and s-kids- basically through my entire adulthood.  They leave a huge hole when they go but they filled a large space in our hearts for a very long time.  Thinking of you and your Lily...
