Emi went to the bridge, in February 2010. I wanted to acknowledge it, but couldn't do it until now. She was such a character and touched many people. Have a look at her journey. Make sure you scroll down to the videos, especially the purring one. The picture of her with her eyes closed, always made me laugh. She hated waking up and would sit, refusing to open them. Quite a little princess, but a very strong little dog. http://pugalug.com/emi.html We will always miss you Emi.

She was adorable. The purring and the pretending to still be asleep were the best!

I remember watching the purring video when you first posted it. It cracked me up then and cracked me up tonight. What a sweet little thing.

Emi was one of the first pugs that I met when we attended our first pugalug. We decided to adopt Dave that day and I remember how sweet Emi was. She will always be remembered and it's hard to believe a year has passed already. Our thoughts are with you and your family Candace.

She was such a lovely girl. She had the most beautiful face and wrinkles. I also can not believe it has been a year.

Still remember meeting Emi at Pawsway at a Pugalug, she was motoring around in her fancy underpants.

Emi was an amazing little Pug Girl. One of the first on the forum to capture my heart Candace as I remember reading your postings about her and watching the purring video. Although I had not had the pleasure of meeting Emi she seemed like a little Pug friend and when she went, I think that many of us felt brokenhearted for Emi, for you Candace and your family. It seems almost impossible that it is more than one year now but she is remembered with great fondness. No doubt she is at the Bridge being a healthy joyful Diva and waiting for those who loved her most.

Oh, she was a honey. Tough little girl, too. I'm so glad that she knew love and care and happiness in her last year while she was with Candace.

I can't believe a year has passed. She was a very lucky girl to have been loved by you and your family. I believe I remember a huge fondness with your daughter.

Emi touched all of our hearts (even those of us who never met her). She was a special girl and was very lucky to have found so much love with Candace and her family.

She did touch a lot of hearts and my daughter was totally in love with her, as I was. Thank-you all for caring so much for all the rescues that pass through Pugalug. It seems like a number of them have gone to the bridge in the past year. I'm sure she is trying to boss them all!
