Well, I found a great treat for Sami today!  Grin - Dehydrated rabbit ears! She just loves them!! I was so happy to find a treat that I am confident that she can have without any issues. They are a bit pricey, (about 20 ears for $10 bucks) but so worth it for her.

I brought them home from the Pet Fun Fest today and at first she just sniffed them, but quickly took one from my hand and ate it. They look very weird...they still have a bit of fur on them.

Here's the link to the website if anyone is interested. I spoke to the owner today, she is in the process of opening a retail store, but for now you can buy them and she will ship them to you.

WOW!  what a super sight Smiley

There are some really great products on there!
I'm in for pig ears, will try rabbit ears and the "offender" and boys love
dehydrated liver too!
the prices are great too!

I can see the rabbit ears as being super chews with built in flossing Smiley
That would be super for cleaning between the teeth as long as fur does
not get stuck in there?!?!?!

Thanks for posting Smiley

LOL good, dental floss! Smiley LOL

yeah, she took pretty well to them, like they were chips, it's so nice to have something to treat her with. My poor gal doesn't have much of a range of treats she can have.
Glad you liked the link, rabbit is one of the most expensive proteins out there, so it didn't surprise me that they were so expensive. They had some tripe that Canadace bought, but since it's beef I didn't want to chance it.

actually..... if it is properly cleaned and human grade tripe it is okay!
Bubba has an allergy to beef and I can't feed it to him or it up chucks
asap Sad
BUT when I feed Bubba fresh "human grade" tripe (found at Metro)
he is okay with it ?!?!?  not sure why but there you go!

maybe try a small piece on Sammers? I cut it up with scissors and put on their
food.

Did you see the other price range they had for rabbit ears on the websit??
It was a larger amt of ears and I think the price was 30.00?!?!?
sounded like an awesome deal!   too!

Thanks IMCpug- we are in the process of a diet change - like I had mentioned on a previous thread. Her rabbit Carnivora will be in on Thursday this week, I think I will try just that for a week or two then start adding things in one by one.

Later down the road I might try tripe but for now, just the whole carcass rabbit will have to due.

your welcome, Amanda!

it's just a suggestion, as the tripe comes in one or two pieces, usually and
isn't too much of a waste, if Sammers cannot digest it.
Worth a try, later on when you feel more comfortable expanding her
diet Smiley

Then you don't want to look at the dehydrated chicken's and duck's feet.....

I ordered the cow snouts and pizzles and both are a hit here.  Teedles especially likes the snouts...

...pizzles like bullies?  I brought a few bully sticks over to my brother-in-law's for their labs (both males) to try.  Redneck brother-in-law was very interested in bullies as a great new snack for his boys (the labs LOVED them) until he found out what bullies actually are...then he lost it.  And i mean LOST IT.  Accused me of trying to...politley put...change the sexuality of his (neutered) male dogs.  It was hilarious.  Everyone else almost peed themselves watching the hissy fit a 300+ lb man threw over little bully sticks.  Smiley

And dehydrated ducks feet and cow snouts sound dis-gus-ting!!!  (But i'm sure the pugs would love 'em!)
