I don't know if any of you remember Tassu, the older vizsla that I dog sat last summer and with whom Pippin was madly in love.

Her family let her go to the Bridge recently.  She was 12.5 years old.  They suspect a neurological problem.  Her owners, Gene and Marilu, are heart broken and so am I.

Tassu, go find my dogs and cats.  Lola is there and you always liked her.

I will miss this girl so much.

She was a GREAT dog.  I'd known her since she was 12 weeks old.

So sorry to hear about Tassu.....I know how much she was adored by you and I can only imagine how heartbreaking it is for her faimily. Our thoughts are with you all.  I'm sure you have some wonderful memories of her.

My heart goes out to you Blanche and to Tassu's family.  I only knew her through the photos you posted but she struck me as a real lady enduring Pippin's crush with patience and dignity.

If she was a friend of Lola's she must have been a dog of great character, indeed.  I am sorry for her loss.
