well I thought I would do a new post Smiley

and I'm not sure if this is a senior thing or if it is a hot spot or
if Missy Young Offender has been licking on the old guy ?!?!?!?

Thought if anyone else saw the pic it might jog a memory or two???

I think it was a hot spot and it is healing nicely.

Hmmm.  Not sure what that is.  I'd keep it clean and dry whatever it is.  No chance it could be ringworm?  Just spitballing here.....

no I'm pretty sure it isn't ringworm.

however I am now leaning towards hotspot Sad
the pic isn't very good, my apologies!
However, I spotted Bubs licking on it twice today..... booger!

Both he and Abi have developed this habit of licking on Pugsley Sad
Legs, hiney and/or anything else that seems delicious?!?!?

So I'm wondering if that might be the problem?!?!?

It is looking good, kept clean and polysporin and Vit E night and morning!
It was just really weird, Pugsley isn't prone to anything wrong with his skin Sad

Where is it actually located, found it hard to tell from the pic?  Is it possible to post a wider shot to give a better idea?

Smiley  I'm not worried Deb, I just wondered if anyone else had anything similar in
this area or something similar somewhere else ?!?!

It is actually healing well.
Pugsley has a huge, er uhm, bum fold there and it could have been just a
rubbing area and this flared up?!?!?
Bubba seems to think it is a very tasty area and I have to keep my eyes on
him; but can't when I'm at work.

Maybe his bum area is swollen and needs to settle down? Could something with an anti-inflammatory help?

Hard to see where it is but is it possibly an inflamed/plugged anal gland?

I am so sorry guys Sad

LOL! guess my picture taking skills need upgrading Wink

This sore showed up at the base of his back just before where the
tail starts.
He has a few folds there from extra skin and I'm totally leaning towards a hot spot now.
It has healed an dis scabbed over and does not seem to bother him all that much.

I think too that Bubs and Young Offender have taken to using Pugsley as
their "lollipop"   Lips Sealed  Undecided
and I'm wondering if that could have aggravated the situation?!?!?
Anyhow at this time it is healed over, hairless but seems fine.

So thank you to one and all for your concerns and suggestions.
If you have had a similar incident, I would love to know, or if Pugsley
is "unique" which I cannot fathom Wink  but you just never know!
