I want to help a friend find a trainer in the Toronto area.  He has a 5 month old Shiba Inu, first dog, its going well but I really want him to get his pup into a class.  I do not know anyone in Toronto, he is at College and Bathurst.
Only positive reinforcement please... Any recommendations?
Thanks, Diane

Hi Diane,

I used Karen at Whatta Pup. I have a rescue chihuahua/mexican hairless mix. Her classes are small and are held mostly at PawsWay.

Here is her website:

Personally, I've used Who's Walking Who and have really liked them.

I've also heard good things about Swansea and did obedience with Tank with Cindy Boht who used to be there, but is now the trainer for Super Dog Central.  Might be worth checking out:

Petopia has some classes, but haven't used them so don't know much about them:

Wow, I live a block from College and Bathurst. I will have to keep my eyes out for a Shiba Inu puppy. I took Maude to a place right in the area that I would not really recommend (PM me if you would like the name) but there is a place that opened about a year ago, that I have not taken her but would like to try. It is all clicker based training, which is positive.

If he does go and likes it, I would love to know how it went.
