Yep, it was interesting, the last time I visited with Blanche!
I felt as if I was in Europe, where everyone takes
their canines to ritzy restaurants for lovely meals Smiley
They sit right with you at the table  Wink

oh but you really are  Tongue

I was absolutely impressed by everyone's table manners.
The lineup at the door to get room to be near the table was
amazing Wink  however very orderly!

They aren't too bad, actually.  I like a bit of decorum in the house.  Hazel is the only loogan.

After reading your post Blanche, I am feeling a little on the "dumb" side Embarrassed
I have two bowls that resemble yours, not sure where I purchased them. I have discovered that the pugs enjoy eating out of them and will always eat out of them first. I really never gave it any thought, about their snouts, or lack of  Grin, and wondered what was so special about those bowls. After reading your post it finally clicked!

Hey, live and learn.  I had to learn the short snout dog bowl system as well as I'd had mostly long nosed dogs before.

We have dog and cat ceramic bowls, cat for a smaller snout, with kiddie placemats (got this idea from the kids) underneath them to catch the water over splash.
