Help! Dogs and babies.....

As many of you know from the video I posted, Isaac and Ada get along famously. He and Darwin have done well too, although there was some competition for laps on Darwins part at first. Today, Isaac was playing tug toy game with Ada again. No problem. He then tried it on Darwin and at first D was fine, but after a couple of minutes of tugging play, he growled at Isaac when he grabbed the toy again. Darwin has been wonderful with with Isaac in all other respects, very kind and patient, so I don't know how worried about this I should be.
Any advice?

Hmmm. That's a tough one. On the one hand, you don't want to discourage growling IF it is a warning, but you'd also like to know what Darwin is saying.
Is he a growler when he plays tug with other dogs?
Let me do some research and ask some questions, but it might be a good idea to discourage the tug games for the time being or monitor them closely (as I'm sure you already do).
This is one of those times when you really wish they could speak english.

My guys do growl, when playing tug. It is part of the game. It might be wise to not engage in a baby/pug tug game, just in case Isaac accidently gets nipped. I don't think it would be intentional, but it could happen.
