Finnegan has got to be Winnie's long lost brother, they look so much alike from his picture. Another very cute Pug boy. Good luck Finnegan with finding your perfect forever. We'll be looking forward to hearing more about you.

He is adorable, welcome Finnegan.  I thought he looked an awful lot like Sully in one of the pictures too.  I hope you are stopping in for a short stayover until your forever home is found.

Wondering how Finnegan is doing after his last vet visit a few days ago. Such a cute little guy with a wonderful name and a great smile.

Well, Mr. Finnegan has crystals and we need to send out a urine sample for culture and sensitivity.  We also probably need to get an X-ray to rule out stones, but it's not uber urgent.

Otherwise, he is doing quite well and was at Winter Woofstock.

Is it just me or do crystals seem to be a common place issue with pugs, aside from the other typical issues?  Hope he gets clean and on his way, a real cutie!

To be honest with you, we DO see it a lot with our fosters.  Not sure if pugs are more prone to it or if it's stress or food or what.  Most of our dogs come in on pretty poor diets and usually have had stressful histories so either could be contributing.

But some dogs just do seem to be more prone to them.
