Huey is so very cute.  Glad to hear that he is adjusting well.

Good luck with the crystals; hope they go away soon.

Very cute and love the name too. Welcome Huey and I hope those crystals clear up quickly.

I have been freezng a spoonful of Fromm's shredded wet food with water in an ice cube tray and giving them to Maude as a treat in this heat. It seems to be a hit and has increased her liquid comsuption. If your are trying to increase his liquids - you could try this.

Huey has got to be one of the cutest Pugs I've ever seen and his new name suits his adorable face. Hoping the crystals disappear with loving care and the right approach. Hmmm........wonder if Winnie and Sasha would be interested in a younger brother.

He's so cute! Sorry to learn about the crystals and hope they clear real soon. Seems to be so common with pugs...

He is pretty fussy about food and treats I will keep it in mind... Right now my focus is to increase the amount of water I add to the kibble. To make it more enticing for him I am adding a tiny amt (1/4 to 1/2 tsp) of the baby chicken in broth. Its working and he eats his meal - while more leisurely than mine do still in a reasonable time-frame and is consuming all the water too.

He is very cute and generally a really nice boy. Huey rarely even attempts to mark in the house. Its mostly just dribbles. If he gets excited he spins and spins around chasing his tail and yipping like a lunatic.

Welcome Huey!  How do you like your new name?

You are a very cute.......do you have a mix of brown in your fur?

How does one know to look for crystals?  Is it related to marking, urinary patterns changing or accidents?
