A fawn male, found as a stray. He looks a little worse for the wear right now but he's getting the attention that he needs to feel better! http://pugalug.com/aiden.html

This little nameless fella was on death row last week. The shelter asked Pugalug to take him in and thanks to some of our transport team, he found his way to our wonderful foster mom and a new and better life. In rescue work, we see the worst and the best in people. And Pugalug volunteers are the best of people!

We have a great team of Pugalug people. Everyone does their part and much of it is behind the scenes. Thanks to all who are advocates for these puggies. Aiden is in a very caring home and has a bright future!

Very sad and sorry to see this happen to such a lost soul, but thankful someone from Pugalug could take him in and give him the helping hand he needed. Why do you think he was found shaven?

Because, believe it or not, people actually do this to pugs thinking that it helps with shedding. It just infuriates me. It doesn't help with shedding, obviously and poses some health risks to the dog--sunburn being one of them.

Said again but never too often, thanks to all who made it possible in every way for sweet Aiden to come to a place of kindness and care that will take him to a furever of the same.
Humanity would seem to be one of the greatest paradoxes, within our species a capacity for compassion, courage and love while at the same time a shocking potential for ignorance, stupidity and sheer evil. May Aiden know only the former for the rest of his life.
