My poor guy seems to be going downhill. He suddenly became unable to move without falling over. It is the leg that has had surgery a few years ago. He also has seen the surgeon and neurologist about it. We determined that it was worsening because of his spinal issues. Nothing to be done, but try and keep him comfortable. What worries me, is that this latest change was so sudden. It could be just a sore leg, but it could also be a Transient Ischemic Attacks (TIAs). He hasn't passed any urine since yesterday. He is eating, but with Salvador I would be shocked if he didn't eat! I have given him the higher recommended dose of his Tramadol, to keep him comfortable.
At this point, I will monitor him and hope he improves. I will see if the vet recommends anything, but I don't think there is anything that can be done. Please give him some good thoughts. We are about to celebrate his 11th birthday, on July 1st. I hope he will be feeling better.
