We took Ada in for surgery #1 today, she was pretty nervous, and so was her Daddy!
We should get some news this afternoon, and we go and get her at 4pm.

My poor girl.  Sad

She's home!  Adadog is home and curled up on my leg, with Darwin curled against her.  She's moving well, and now that she's home seems to be feeling much better.  As for the news:
They removed the lump entirely and have sent it away for a pathology report.  We'll get the results on Friday or Monday but Dr. Fox's gut feeling is that it's benign.  While she was under we had xrays done to finally get a good look at her legs.  The news is good and bad.  On the good side they were able to determine her LPs.  Her right knee is a grade 1, left knee a 1/2.  Pretty much what we expected.  The bad news - she has hip displaysia.  It's fairly mild, worse on the left than the right, but we are to be prepared for problems in the future.  Other than that all we can do is keep her fit and give her Sasha Blend.  And the bill - $1019.  Thank you pet insurance!

Next up is her eyes.  Dr. Fox is going to send us to Dr. Wolf in Toronto.  His first choice would be his classmate Dr. Quinn in London but that is a bit far of a trek for a dog that doesn't travel well.

Thanks for all the good wishes!
