This Sunday, May 16, will be Miss Sasha's third Gotcha Day. When she began her life with us, she was a frightened sick Pug and now she is a little black bundle of personality who loves life. She'll be spoiled with her very favourite foods and lots of cuddles and ear rubs. She's looking forward to the adventure of Pugtoria a week from her Gotcha Day. Our lives have been enriched and made more joyous though rescuing this precious little soul. Special Gotcha Day wishes from her fursibling Miss Winnie!

Blanche I'll tell you the whole story when we meet at Pugtoria but the short version is that I bought her intending to give her up to Pugalug Pug Rescue. I had contacted Larry and arrangements had been made for us to transport her to a Pugalug foster home. After having her for a few days I realized that couldn't part with her. She was quite sick and I thought it best for us to keep her and take care of her. She was so frightened that I didn't think it fair to her to put her through all of that change and I was also concerned about the veterinary expense to Pugalug. It was definitely the right decision and as they say, the rest is history....

I can attest to the fact that this girl has it made, starting 3 years ago. I don't know a more devoted pug guardian!!! Happy Gotcha Day, sweet Sasha.

Sasha has had quite the 3rd Gotcha Day. She's in her favourite chair now, snoring and waiting for mommy to come and take her upstairs to the big bed. She had lots of being outside today, sunning herself with that beautiful little black face, eyes closed, turned up to the sun, which she adores to do. We went to one of her favourite parks on the water today so she could sniff new smells and meet some new people. She dined on her foods favourite tonight, baked chicken breast with green and yellow beans and carrots. I'm afraid to admit what she had for dessert.
All in all, it was a great celebration for a little Pug girl who is one of the bravest most loving creatures I'm sure I will ever meet.
Thank you for all of your good wishes. They made Sasha'a 3rd Gotcha Day the best ever.
