I bought Rocky the seafood Acana kibble.  He loves it.  Problem is that when I try to mix it with his old food so he doesn't get a stomach upset he picks out his old kibble and leaves it all over the kitchen.

His feces are a bit loose, but he is bright, alert, eating and drinking like usual.  Do I need to be concerned?  I have always been told to gradually switch food......

It's always best to switch gradually, but we often have to do sudden switches in the rescue when foster dogs come in with no food or food so bad I wouldn't feed it to my worst enemy.  Try adding some pumpkin and/or over cooked rice for the first week or so.  If Rocky can handle rice.

Geeg has no prob with a total switch- cast iron tummy to go with her "I can hold it for 24 hours" cast iron kidneys!  Jem gets the wobbly-poos, too but goes away pretty quickly...
