Emi is gone. It seems so strange. There are still all the signs of her.....the pills on the counter, the diaper pail, her coat and harness. I will post more, when the time is right. For now, light a candle for her. She was well loved, by many who followed her journey with Pugalug. There is more discussion under "Get well wishes"

I am so so sorry Candace. Emi was so special and you and your family gave her all the love and hope she could ever have wanted. If caring alone could have healed her her time with you would have made her healthy as a horse.
Tears will be shed here for her, and for you and your family.

She was something, our Miss Emi. It was sad to let her go, but it was the right thing to do for her. We will all miss her, but Candace and Laura will miss her most of all.

Candace my heart goes out to you and your daughter at this very difficult time. Emi was truly a remarkable little girl, she touched so many in more ways than one. Her spirit will live on in you and she will be looking over you when you take another little one under your wings. Thank you for all the love and care you gave her, all of you will be in my prayers.
