Saturday morning we got a 4 year old fawn, Bellarina. She's a fluffy teddy bear. Quite overweight, but lively. She reminds me of an Ewok from Star Wars with her big eyes. She's grieved for her old family (surrendered because of issues with their children) more than any other pug I've fostered. But she's eating now, playing with her foster pug, Jackson and starting to follow me around and sit next to me. Bellarina is very serious about her walks, and hasn't had any accidents.

She is a delight and after her vetting Friday - she seems very healthy -- I'll give another update.

Some lucky family will have a very lovely dog.

Oh poor girl.  I'm sorry that her transition has been so hard on her.  I'm sure she's getting lots of TLC from you and Jackson.

Welcome Bellarina!  Hugs to you little Ewok girl.

It was great to meet Bellarina at Pugintine.....she had such a lovely nature and seemed to me to be wise beyond her years.  She even allowed Andrew to stroke her although I understand she is a little afraid of children.

I agree, her eyes are very expressive!

Good luck at the vet  Smiley

Bellarina seems to be settling in. Although she refused to go for a walk with our dog walking neighbour kid. She planted herslef on the sidewalk, pulled out of her harness and trotted back up to the door with a "I don't know you, I'm not going anywhere with you attitude."

She still pines in the morning, and insists on her breakfast in bed, as she won't get up to go outside for a pee or move the 3 feet to her bowl.

She'll take a long time to warm up to her new family, but I think when she does, she will be a loyal and devoted pet.
