Thanks for all the good suggestions. I have been trying them and variations of them and hopefully soon, we will figure a way that he will take the drops a little more willingly and expediently.

I have managed to get them in last night and today as long as he is pretty much asleep and only one eye at a time (the other about 20-30 minutes later). The sneak attack seems to only work for one eye and then he knows what is coming for the other.

I think the cone is also a problem so the next set I am going to try with him out of it.

I think we will be fine over the weekend, where there is lots of time for me to wait until he is good and sleepy the problem will be during the week when I have to work - he is never sleepy those days.  Roll Eyes

I am adding some pics - I will do better ones later. The one in the x-pen is the day after surgery and the other is today but he was very sleepy.

Wow Laura, his eyes look great!  Thanks for posting the photos!  Yes, the drops are hard to put in when the cone is on! I can see after the healing he is going to be one handsome dude!!  Grin

Can see why many don't like to wear or even deal with cones, can't really blame them... Huh?  Hope all heals well and the "cone can soon be gone."
